Pushpadhanva Rasa (For unexplained infertility)

Reference: Bhaisajya Ratnavali

This is the important Classical Ayurvedic Medicine for  infertility and related reproductive problems. The main ingredients being are Rasasindura, Parada Bhasma, Naga Bhasma, Loha Bhasma, Abhraka Bhasma and Vanga Bhasma. This formulation is specially indicated in underdeveloped reproductive organs.

Benefits:

  1. It improves testicular and ovarian functions. It promotes normal follicular maturations. This is specially useful in cases of unexplained infertility. Clinically, many couples are normal. Even their laboratory investigations do not indicate abnormality. It should be a part of the prescription in females above 30 years and in males above 35 years. In such conditions Pushpadhanva Rasa gives very good results.
  2. It can also be used in infertility as a result of infections like Chlamydia. Rasasindura which is a Vital medicine in cases of sexual transmitted disease helps to clear the infection completely. If the patient is lean and complains of fatigue, then Pushpadhanva Rasa should be used along with the Madhumalini Vasanta Rasa.
  3. Idiopathic infertility, anovulatory cycles, PCOS, Secondary infertility due to genital infections, underdeveloped genital organs, can be treated successfully treated with this formulations.

Dose: 1-2 tablet twice a day with Milk, Ghee or butter
