Science has advanced for the medical field. You can check your health condition in home with the help of simple kits. The number of people using home medical kits to detect signs of imminent ill-health or pregnancy is on the rise. This all are due to advancement of technology, it has made life easier for a lot of busy people, so you dont’need to visit the laboratories and hospitals for the common tests. This is self assessment test you can do before visiting the doctor.

1. Pregnancy Test Kit : This is common test done in the uring of woman for the confirmation of pregnancy. The Presense of HCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin) hormone  is checked  up in the urine. You simply find the kits in the market easily , pour drop of urine in the kits, change in colour as direction there confirm your pregnancy test.
2. Ovulation Test Kit : You can check your ovulation with the help of kits for the presence of hormone LH (luitenizing hormone) which is present in the woman the day prior to ovulation. This test can be used for the case of infertility to cross check the possibility of ovulation.
3. Blood Glucose/Diabetic Test Kit : This test has been worldwide popular.  The no. of diabetic cases has been increasing daily. So the self assessment of their Blood sugar level  to maintain the dietary habit, one can check their sugar level in home. There are widely two kits are popular one is urine test kits. Which strips give colour changes at different level.  Just dip the strip in you will notice the changing colour.   Next test is via blood with the electronic glucometer. You just need drop of blood in the strip of the instrument. Then the digital display indicate the current glucose at the same time.
4. Blood pressure Appratus : Patients with BP imbalance need to check  their BP periodly. The home apparatus of BP is very useful for them  self assessing their blood pressure.  You can find the blood pressure instrument of mercurial as before or digital reading instrument . you just simply check your pressure in arms, finger etc.
5. Temperature : you can find the mercury thermometer in the home for recording the body temperature. There is also available of digital thermometer to record and display digital.

 Though the above are the most commonly apparatus at home, there are other test to determine various physical conditions including leukocytosis, haemorrhoids(piles), ulcers, high blood cholesterol and even Tuberculosis, Hepatitis and AIDS.

Still you find the home kits for medical check up, you  are not suggested to fully depend on the home test. You better do confirmatory test in the well equipped laboratory and consult with the doctor for correlating the test results  with the signs and symptoms with you.  Consult your physician as early for avoiding delay in diagnosis  and treatment.
