Constipation home remedy

Constipation is the condition when you have trouble having bowel movements. Usually your stool is hard and difficult during passing. Or you may feel like you still need to have a bowel movement even after you’ve had one.

Constipation is caused by improper dietary habits, eating excessive non vegetarian, fried, fast foods, insufficient intake of water, indigestion of food products and results in hard and dry stool Usually constipation treatment is very effective and the main causes being dietary and lifestyle factors, simply making the required changes to these areas of your life can help prevent or even cure constipation.

  • Bael fruit is the best laxatives in action. Ripe bael cleans and tones up your intestine.
  • You should drink a glass of luke warm water bedtime. If you have severe chronic constipation then mix teaspoonful of castor oil in the milk and take at bedtime.
  • Lemon juice mixed with warm water taken 2-3 times a day.
  • Take aloe vera gel 1-2 tea spoonful twice a day
  • If case of children. Suppositary made of stalk of betel leaf dipped in castor oil introduce in rectum.
  • One teaspoonful of corn syrup added to 80z of water.
  • Extra sugar or honey to glass of water or milk drink twice a day.
  • Cassia pulp 50grams soak in water and leave it overnight then take with 25grams of water in morning.
  • Drink a solution of 1/2 tsp honey in 1/2 cup warm water 2-3 times a day to cure constipation.
  • Mix 1/2 cup olive oil with 1/2 cup orange juice and drink daily.
  • You must drink one liter of warm water and walk around for a few minutes early morning.
  • Take 3 tsp of psyllium husk (Sat Isabgol) in milk or warm water at bed time.
  • Add plenty of fruits, vegetables and salads in your diet. Chew food thoroughly and eat only when hungry. Fruits like Fruit salad lemon ,orange, Gauva, papaya, dates, figs, prunes, grapes. Pears, apple and apple juice are good remedy of constipation.
  • Better you take one apple daily to avoid constipation and maintain bowel.
  • Spinach (palak) taken raw or cooked are good for maintaining bowel.
  • For chronic constipation Castor oil is best herbal formula for constipation without side effects.
  • you make take wheat instead of rice if you are chronic sufferer.
  • Regular physical exercise yoga and pranayam is necessary for maintaining proper bowel movements
