Diet plays the important part of our life. For the healthy living diet reflects the health condition of an individual. Including body buildup whatever we eat is the cause of body physiology. Ayurveda advocates the cause of any disease as diet and lifestyles. So we should be conscious about eating the best food good for our own health. A Healthy living diet doesn’t mean depriving yourself of the nutrients, taste or smooth texture but it means choosing right foods. Balanced diet is necessary for all the bodily mechanism. Even for maintenance of sexual and reproductive system it is equally important to be conscious on our eating habits. Here are some important diet chart for sexual and reproductive system:

Cereals: Rice, Wheat, Jam, Poha (prithuka)

Pulses : Udid, Mung, Tur, Tila

Milk products : Milk, ghee, cream, cream of curds, shrikhand

Sugars : Sugar cane, jiggery, sugar

Sweets : laddu, Modak, Shira, Payasam

Fruits : Dried black graps, Almonds, Figs, Alubuchara, Dates and other dry fruits, Jardalli, Seeds of pumpkins , cucumber and priyal , i.e kharoli, pista, mango, banana

Vegetables : Cucumber, Coriander, potatoes, onions, sweet potatoes, garlic, kushmanda, kangar, snakegourd

Meats : Chicken, swan, peacock, sparrow, pig, fish, eggs, Crocodile, eggs of sparrow

Spices : Ginger, Pepper, Cumin seeds, Coriander

Salts : Saindhava

  • This is a great topic! Rarely do people know that sexual organs are our energy centres, producing life force for our daily life. And healthy sexual organs mean more energy, higher mental focus and usually a happier outlook on life in general.
    Another effective herb is chives! It feeds Yang energy in the body and contributes to better functions of kidneys.
