Ayurvedic treatment for Gall bladder stones

gall bladder stone

Gall stones

The gallbladder is a pearshaped organ that is located beneath your liver. Gallstone are solid deposits of cholesterol or calcium salts that form in your gallbladder or nearby bile ducts — often cause no symptoms and require no treatment. If a gallstone exits the gallbladder, it can cause pain and other symptoms. Gallstones usually begin producing symptoms when they obstruct the duct that leads from the liver to the gallbladder or the duct that leads from the gallbladder to the small intestine. Gallstones most commonly affect people over the age of 40 and are generally associated with high blood cholesterol levels. Women who have had multiple pregnancies are also at increased risk.

According to Ayurveda, gall bladder stones form mainly due to an improper metabolic process and this process is governed by the elemental force like the bile, Pitta. Pitta controls the digestive system and all biochemical process. The Ayurvedic treatment of gall bladder stones involves herbal medications, detoxification and advice on adjustments to diet and lifestyle.

Ayurveda views gallstones as a kapha disorder of slow metabolism (including underactive thyroid). An Ayurvedic practitioner may recommend taking an Ayurvedic formula containing six herbs, including musta and shilajit, to help prevent gallstones by speeding metabolism. To eliminate gallstones, the practitioner may also suggest a liver flush of olive oil, lemon juice, and spices. Like many people, you may have gallstones and not know it.

Ayurvedic treatment

  • Vitamin C is needed to convert cholesterol to bile acids. In theory, such a conversion should reduce gallstone risks. So, consume Vitamin C rich fruits such as aamla and citrus fruits.
  • Turmeric, citrus fruits, dried ginger, black pepper, long pepper, hing, etc., fall under these categories. Mineral compounds like Saindhava lavanam and Yavakshaar also serve a similar purpose.
  • Before breakfast, on an empty stomach, take a tsp of Saindhava lavanam or ordinary table salt in a glass of hot water. After drinking this, lie down for about 45 minutes on your right side. Do this once or twice a week.
  • Apply castor oil pack over the gallbladder area. Take a cup of castor oil, and soak a flannel cloth in it. Place the saturated cloth over the gallbladder area, and cover with plastic.
  • Apatarpana (fasting), langhana (light diet) and virechana (mild purgation) are some of the therapeutic procedures that are usually advised as a part of the treatment.
  • Specific Ayurvedic remedies such as Shankavati, Sootasekar ras, Pravaalpanchaamrit, Hingwaashtak choorna, Avipattikar choorna, etc., are generally prescribed to treat this condition. The duration of the treatment and dosage of these medicines depends on the severity of the condition. Recent studies have suggested that persons at highest risk for gallstone formation, obese persons undergoing weight reduction, can virtually eliminate their risk for developing gallstones by taking Kanchanar Guggulu. Gokshuradi Guggulu Arogyavardhini Bati.

Herbal Therapy

Numerous herbs are recommended for banishing gallstones, improving the flow of bile, and preventing the formation of new stones. Any of the following treatments are suggested by herbalists: Combine equal amounts of tinctures of wild yam, fringetree bark, milk thistle, and balmony, and take a teaspoonful of the blend several times a day. Drink chamomile or lemon balm tea or a combination tea of balmany and fringetree. To make any of the teas, steep 1 or 2 teaspoons of the herb in 1 cup boiling water for 15 minutes; strain. Other beneficial herbs for treating gallstones include catnip, cramp bark, dandelion, fennel, ginger root, and horsetail.

Yogic Treatment of Gall Bladder Stones
Yoga is also considered as an effective method for treatment of gall bladder stones. Exercise is essential for treating gall bladder stones, as physical inactivity is very much likely to lead to lazy gall-bladder type indigestion and eventually result in the formation of stones. Various Yoga Asanas are suggested for treatment of gall bladder stones and they are considered as beneficial in toning up the liver and gall bladder. Some of the most commonly used yogic asanas for treating gallstones include Sarvangasana, Paschimottanasana, Salabhasana, Dhanurasana, Bhujangasana, etc. Yoga poses that help ward off gallstones by emptying the gallbladder include the Bow, Peacock, and Spinal Twist.

Lifestyle Changes

In Ayurveda, gallbladder stone are known as “PITTASMARI”. They are believed to result from an imbalance among the three doshas — or energy systems — which are known as vata, pitta and kapha. simple lifestyle changes such as losing weight, avoiding constipation, and consuming fruits rich in vitamin C, such as amla, or Indian gooseberry. apatarpana, or fasting, followed by langhana — a light, wholesome diet with an emphasis on fruit and vegetable juices, yogurt, cottage cheese and olive oil.

Hot Packs

The application of hot packs are a staple of Ayurvedic treatment for gallstones. Chirumamilla recommends soaking a flannel cloth with one cup of castor oil, placing it over the area of your gallbladder, covering it with plastic wrap and placing a heating pad over it for half an hour. Chirumamilla advises applying the pack daily for a month, then decreasing the frequency to three times a week.

That is a nicely drafted content material. I just were pleased with looking at it quite a lot. There are various website sites on dedicated websites right now, and additionally a whole lot details, it is actually demanding to discern what is serious, and therefore what lots of people really make up. The same is true of diet regimes or any sort of fat reduction. I’ve truly studied loads for the hcg diets, and in addition am unclear what things to ascertain because of pretty much everything. Evidently hcg injection therapy may very well be route to take, nonetheless they look and feel very expensive, and you also need a general practitioner. So i am pondering about the use of hcg drops, just in case they start to actually work. You’ll find total painless hcg drops, in addition naturopathic hcg drops purchasable willynilly. Buyers may also get hold of painless hcg drops found at Walmart at this point. This diet which goes with hcg, looks like it can be a starvation diet because they say that you consume under 600 caloric intake in one day. We would consider that people today should probably shed fat directly on any regular diet because of this. In addition they declare hcg makes it possible to have the ability to stay on the diet, additionally aids the human body as a way to cast off alot more unwanted fat.

Try Epsom salt 4tbsp and water 800 ml drink evening – no dinner – before bed drink mixture of olive oil 1/2 cup and juice of 3 grapefruit – lie down on right side with knees hugged and sleep peacefully. Next day morning wake up and you will have bowel movement and all stones will be out . Avoid fatty foods for the next week or so … Add plenty of oat meal to yr diet . Good flush …I escaped from surgery …pls pass this on folks !

I smoke cigarettes and I do care for my money, you’d preferably buy cigarettes from online store.
You can save significantly more than what you’d pay if you buy them from your corner store.

I have been using BuyCheapCigs.net for over a year…have NEVER been burned, prices are low and they always deliver QUICK.

If there was a issue they are hasty to resolve it.

There can be found Marlboro, Parliament, Camel, Winston, Viceroy and other cigarettes at cheap prices.

see what they have and shop online…
